In 2003, Mark Saydah purchased a three-family building in Shirley MA. He already owned a primary and lake-front home for his family, but this purchase was different because the goal was to sell it for profit, in as little time as possible. Four years later he purchased a three-family building in Medford, MA for a condo-development project, and flipped it just six months later, marking the official beginning of his real estate investment career. 

Since that time, Mark has purchased and sold more than thirty single-family, multi-family and commercial properties, spanning from New England to the mid-Atlantic. His current portfolio includes two commercial properties, three single-family properties, and two large multi-family apartment properties, all of which are rented to long- and short-term tenants. 

What began as a retirement game plan has become Mark’s full-time focus, and his business has expanded to hard money lending and property management, including for two AirBnbs. He says that real estate investment requires a bit of adventure and a lot of preparation and hard work… you have to know what you’re doing and be willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in with clarity, focus and organization.
